From 2003 to 2008: he placed 2nd at the Campionato Provinciale Varesino della Pizza, 1st at the Veneto Region Pizza Championship, 2nd at the World Bakeware Pizza Championship, 2nd at the Organic Pizza Championship, 3rd at the Bar Giornale contest in Montecarlo, and then, 1st at the Oem Championship
2010 is the year of the final enshrinement: Gianni Calaon won the World Classic Pizza Championship, presenting his new pizza, "Nicoletta"; and the following year he confirmed his leadership succeeding as the World Pizza Sana Champion, showcasing "Pizza con i Fasolari"
In 2011 and 2012 he continued to reap the laurels in worldwide contests, then he became the Paddle World Pizza Champion 2013, thanks to his "Pizza Mariani". That's further confirmation of a professional maturity which allows him to deal with all craft specials moving himself with great skill and confidence
2017 is the year of his 4th world title. Leading Penelope team, Gianni Calaon climbed the ranking of the team specialty (which adds the scores of each component competing in different races) and placed on the top step of the podium: he and his fellows are the new World Pizza Team Champions
